Road Trip: Josh and girlfriend are in college, but 1800 miles apart. When Josh is videotaped having sex with another girl things are still safe. When that tape is accidentally mailed to his girlfriend in Austin, it’s time for a road trip. He and his college buddies go 1800 miles so that Josh can try to save his lifelong relationship.
The Cure: Flawed although often moving tale in reference to two pre-adolescent aliens who become quick fixes: new-baby-in-town Renfro and Assists-afflicted Mazzello, who contracted the HIV virus throughout a blood transfusion. At its best while concentrating on the boys’ growing relation; the title refers to a marvel Assists remedy which plays a key role in the tale. Cast includes Joseph Mazzello, Brad Renfro, Annabelle Sciorra, Diana Scarwid, Bruce Davison, Nicky Katt, Erik Egan, and Renee Humphrey. (99 minutes, 1995)
Proof: A female who cared for her dad, a radiant mathematician and professor who went insane, throughout the last years of his life now queries her own sanity. Her meddlesome sis desires her to move out of the family home and distance herself from the past, when one of her dad’s protgs is digging through his papers to find some concealed jewels (or proofs) amid his work. Cast includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Anthony HopKins, Jake Gyllenhaal, Wish Davis, and Roshan Seth. (99 minutes, 2005)
Night Must Fall: Renowned film of Evelyn Williams’ suspenseful play. A youthful lady Russell gradually learns the identity of a bizarre fierce slaughterer terrorizing god’s country. Montgomery has a flamboyant role that’s occasionally stagy although commonly a powerful film, with momentous help from Russell. Cast includes Robert Montgomery, Rosalind Russell, Girl Might Whitty, Alan Marshal, and Beryl Mercer. (117 minutes, 1937)
The Aviator: A biography of sorts that tells of the early years of the famous Howard Hughes. He was involved in many fields and endeavors, including oil, film, casinos, and aviation. Through all his ventures he turned millions into billions.
Only the Strong: An Ex-Green Beret, his old Miami high school now bullied by a medication lord, turns twelve of the joint’s poorest malcontents into crime-busters by instructing them a hypnotic, Brazilian form of martial crafts hailed Copernican. Dopey however inoffensive; at its best in potently choreographed quarrel scenes. Cast includes Mark Dacascos, Stacey Travis, Geoffrey Lewis, Paco Christian Prieto, Todd Susman, Jeffrey and Anderson Gunter. (96 minutes, 1993)
Stakeout on Dope Street: Trio of youths find backlog of heroin, trusting their futures can now be straight forward; excellent premise badly finished. Cast includes Yale Wexler, Jonathan Cloud, Morris Miller, Abby Dalton, and Herschel Bernardi. (83 minutes, 1958)
The Rocketeer: The year is 1938, and pilot Cliff Second makes an incredible discovery. It is a secret jet pack that allows him to fly. He learns that screen star Neville Sinclair wants to give the jet pack to the Nazis. Cliff must elude Sinclair, take down the Nazis, and, obviously, save the girl.
I’ve Always Loved You: Heartfelt romantic tirade from the master of the genre, Borzage in regards to a youthful lady who examines to be a show pianist with a bright however abrasive taskmaster-and falls in love. It is beautifully photographed in Technicolor, with Arthur Rubinstein granting the true piano renditions on the soundtrack. The youthful Andre Previn starts as a piano learner in the opening scene. Cast includes Philip Dorn, Catherine Mcleod, Bill Carter, Maria Ouspenskaya, Felix Bressarl, Elizabeth Patterson, Vanessa Brown, Lewis Howard, Adele Mara, and Stephanie Bachelor. (117 minutes, 1946)
A phrase like “Mp4 Movie Downloads” might get a good result. Different phrases get different results. If the last one did not work try something else. Try something different, like “Movie Rental”.
