Edward My Son: Well acted however talky, stagy drama in which brash, rags-to-riches Tracy coddles his child, hoping to inject within him a sense of accountability. Cast includes Spencer Tracy, Deborah Kerr, Ian Hunter, James Donald, Mervyn Johns, qnd Felix Aylmer. (112 minutes, 1949)

R.P.M.: Old styled lenient Quinn gets to be head of university, and then approves a patrol bust of liberals to spare establishment. Inept Erich Segal script, comparably poor Kramer direction gives the film a certain camp value. Cast includes Anthony Quinn, Ann-Margret, Gary Lockwood, Paul Winfield, Graham Jarvis, and Alan Hewitt. The Big Shakedown: Inconsequential story where we see Davis denie spouse Farrell while he joins mobster Cortez in counterfeiting cosmetics and other products, often with dire consequences to the buyers. Cast includes Bette Davis, Ricardo Cortez, Glenda Farrell, Charles Farrell, and Adrian Morris. (64 minutes, 1934)
Soup for One: Occasionally triumphing although choppy presentation of lone New Yorker Rubinek looking for his fantasy gal. Cast includes Saul Rubinek, Marcia Strassman, Gerrit Graham, Teddy Pendergrass, Richard Libertini, Andrea Martin, and Lewis J. Stadlen. (87 minutes, 1982)
The Clubland: Youthful gentleman and his buddies set out to make it in the music industry by operating at a hip club on L.A.’ s Sundown Strip, however they have to handle sleazy publicists and identity complications within the band. Modern-day music and trappings might camouflage, or defeat, a soggy tale that may have been made as a 1930s B film. Cast includes Jimmy Tuckett, Lori Trivial, Brad Seek, Heather Stephens, Rodney Eastman, Friend Quaid, Terence Trent D’ Arby, Alexis Arquette, and Steven Tyler. (94 minutes, 1999)

Night Moves: L.A. investigator Hackman sets apart his domestic griefs to track nymphet Griffith to Florida Keys. Difficult however underrated mental suspenser by Alan Acute leads to shocking pinnacle. Cast includes Gene Hackman, Jennifer Warren, Susan .cIark, Edward Binns, Harris Yulin, Kenneth Harms, James Woods, Melanie Griffith, Dennis Dugan, and Max Gail. (99 minutes, 1975)
Foxy Brown: Bloodshed and little else in this story of Nurse Grier and her vendetta against a drug ring that has slaughtered her lover. Cast includes Pam Grier, Peter Brown, Terry Carter, and Kathryn Loder. (94 minutes, 1974)
